In-Person Mineral Pigment Watercolor Workshop - 5/2/26

This in-person workshop will cover the steps of ethical and safe mineral collection, processing pigment, and using handmade watercolors.

The class will take place Saturday May 2nd, 2026 in Helper, Utah (exact location will be provided after purchase) from noon until 4pm. Participants will receive verbal and demonstrative instruction and have hands-on experience in all the steps to create watercolor paint from Utah collected soils, clays, and rocks in an intimate class size.

This class is for adults (18+) and all skill levels are welcome, no prior experience or outside supplies necessary. Everyone will leave with a ceramic watercolor palette containing the eight watercolors made in class, a booklet with all instructions and procedures, and hopefully some new friends.
